Dans Hometown

This is Lorrie, Dans mom on her street. Just added this in since i did the below post earlier.

Yeserday there was a Tornado that went though Dans hometown of Springville Ma. His Mum Lorrie luckily was at work at the time and not home. It went down her street. A Tree went though her house. Besides being lucky she wasnt home at the time it also didnt totally destroy her house and she is of course okay, which is the main thing. Her roof i guess in gone and the siding and i think part of the garage but im not totally sure on that part. But houses just down the street from her are gone or the backs are gone so they look like doll houses with the backs off. Her street looks like a war zone and she is not allowed down there and is staying with friends. Poor Dan is of course going crazy not being there to help her. It is soooo hard when your family is going though hard times and you cant be there for them. You feel so helpless. I admit i have totally no patient for people that whine about being three or fours hours away from family during hard times. That is nothing!!!!!! Get over it! lol. Its a tank of gas thats all. Hardship is needing an airplane to get to your loved ones. Not only is it hard to come up with the cost of one of those airplanes at last minute (otherwise i would have been with my mum when she passed away) but it can take a day or more to get there and in this case with all thats going on in Ma im sure its impossible to get a flight. Im sure like me Dan would love that tank of gas!!!!!!! lol.
Im very grateful Lorrie is okay and other family and friends of Dans are okay. Heather said that some of his friends called him from there basements crying while it was going on. I cant imgine how Dan was feeling during all this and him being at work also. Im grateful his dad is okay too, i think he lives near cape cod so might have been a little away from it but i really dont know the area of course so dont know for sure. Heather said he called Dan from his basement so he must have been on alert or something. I really hope Ma can recover from this and that Lorrie can get her house back to how it was. Shes a wonderful lady and i wish there was something we could do to help her. And i wish it wasnt so far away so Dan could be where i know he really wants to be right now. Helping her take care of all this. Dan let us know if theres ANYTHING we can do to help.
