Day 4, Sea life, Hike too Makapuu, Hayleys Yard Work

Today we started the day at Dennys. lol. We then went to Sea Life which is close to Hayleys home and then we went on a hike with her dog. The hike was a lot higher up then i expected, lol, but it was a lot of fun and im glad i made it. lol. It was an easy road tho. We didnt get home to pretty late last night. I love the area where Hayley lives. I think its the nicest out here. Its called Kaneohe. If i lived out here thats where i would want to live.

What i loved the most was that the ocean backed Sea Life. It was so pretty there.

Ralph doing Hayleys yard work. Usually Aaron does it for her but hes deployed right now and the glass was long. I dont know what shes going to do till Dece when he gets back. lol.

The dog gets a drink of water during the hike. We didnt!!!!

Ralph found this book. It reminded him of Lucy and Hayleys dog. lol.

This is at the top of the hike.

Another wonderful day in Hawaii.

  1. Great job keeping up on your blog, while you're on vacation! This is bringing back SO many awesome memories of when we were there 2 years ago--Dole Whip ice cream, delicious pineapple, Pearl Harbor, beautiful hikes...I LOVE Hawaii and could seriously move there, if it weren't so far away from my GRANDBABIES! Have you tried the DELICIOUS "Hershey's Chocolate-Macadamia Nut Kisses" that you can get from their ABC Stores? They are THE BEST!

  3. I just went on choicehotels.com and looked up Honolulu...We ended up staying in the "cheapest" hotels we could find (nothing was cheap in Hawaii) :) We stayed in the Ala Moana Hotel for most of the time and the Ohana Airport Hotel the first and last nights. The Ala Moana was a little bit out of the way, but it was a quick bus ride to most places that we wanted to go. We had great air conditioning in both hotels, and they were both nicer than most hotels we stay in on the mainland.

  4. Thanks for the tip, i will check that. Also hot wire is a good place to check, if you do the flight and hotel with them its very cheap. Ralph would never do a bus (other then in england) but we got ours out here this time for 16 a day so pretty good.
