Southend And Around Benfleet

Yeserday we spent the day in Colchester and today we walked around Benfleet and then jumped on the train and went to Southend. It was very cold there today so we didnt walk down the longest pier in the world like i did last time i was there a couple of years ago. It does have a train that takes you to the end but it was so windy we decided to pass this time. It was a very nice day. Although cold very fun to be there again.
You can see some of the pier in the distant. Its a mile long.


This was a very old church in Benfleet, we went inside and they told us some of the history of it.

I had my picture taken here with my mum in July 2009. It was on facebook for a year as my status. Its sad she no longer can be with us. I miss her so much.



They have a fun place for kids. Last time i was here it was packed solid with kids. It wasnt open yet this year.
