Lucys Decisons Paid Off

We really was worried when Lucy went back to St George in Dece. The first semester had been so hard for her. Not only adjusting to college life but also the fact the girl she went down with went kinda strange. lol. The girl got involved in a lot of things that are out there in college life and not good things. Lucy spent so much time trying to be her mum and get her to do the right thing that it lead to Lucys small breakdown and her walking out as she couldnt handle it anymore. It didnt help that she had the girls mother calling her every day begging Lucy to help her. Lucy really did try but theres only so much you can do. Luckily the girl moved out of Lucy apt and Lucy went back to give it another try and it was the right decison. This semester has been wonderful for her. She has found great new friends in her team mates and now spends all her time with them. She landed a new job at a dance studio which is right up her ally and she has also been asked to be a judge on a hs down there for there yearly drill try outs. Bottom line shes getting paid to do something she totally loves. She teaches three classes at the studio, one class being a boys hip hop class (she is hoping for more classes next year) and then she does private lessons for two little girls with there solos for competions this year. She totally loves it all and loves helping these children become better dancers. After she took over these classes they had a rush of parents signing up there kids for it as they were all so excited with her being the teacher and what she was teaching. She also will be down here a few times with the girls for there competions so thats exciting as she has to travel and be with them there. But its all paid so its great. Besides that she is also going to try out for her second year as a Rebelette end of April. They have had over 70 girls email the coach for info this year so its going to be a tough year. She also tried out for the Radio City Rockette Summer Intense Camp in July in New York and made it, Yay!!!!!!! She will get to learn all there christmas show routines and perform them on the great Radio City Stage. She is so excited as you can tell. She is also doing her CNA this semester and is loving the old people she gets to work with. So Lucy is loving life and im so happy she made the right decison, it was hard watching her go back but we have always aloowed our kids to make there own decisons and not try and keep them home or change there decisons for them. Hard as it is sometimes we know they have to learn to make there own decisons and weve so happy hers have worked out okay.
