Fun Times Ahead

We have so many fun trips planned in the next four months or so. I am feeling totally spoiled but loving every minute of it. First we will be heading out to St George with some of our kids to visit Lucy and attend her year end showcase. We are really looking forward to it and also to be able to spend time with our kids out of town. Its something we dont do very often so should be alot of fun. We are staying at the Budget Inn because it has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and also a kids playground. (Ralph might want to play there). Its where we used to always stay with our kids when they were little. Its just nice to get away from work and just relax and play. Above is St George and below is the outdoor swimming pool.

Then Ralph, Cory and I will be off to London. Weve be staying with my dad and visiting family and hitting some sightseeing places. Heather and Dan will be our sitters while weve gone. (thanks guys). It was asked to me why i would want to go in March when the weathers not too great. Hmm i had never thought of that as to me its home and i would go anytime of the year and not even think of what the weather would be like. It shouldnt be any different then here right now but maybe it might rain instead of snow. lol. But its great getting around weather and i cant wait to go. Hmm i wonder if Cory would like a ride in that pink taxi?
The weekend after we get home from England we are flying into Longbeach/Huntington Beach area to spend the weekend with Hayley who will be flying in from Hawaii with Aaron before he gets deployed. We are all staying at the Holiday Inn and im so excited not only to see Hayley but also to meet Aaron. Ive heard so many good things about him. Lucy got to meet him during her Hawaii trip with the Rebelettes and said we will love him. Ralph has always referred to him as Error instead of Aaron soooo we just found out that Aaron refers to Ralph as Barf!!!!!!!! So should be a really fun interesting trip. lol.
This year its Ralphs and I 25th wedding anniversary. Its hard to beleive its been that long. Really!! It only seems like we got married yeserday. Anyway Ralph went ahead and booked us a long weekend trip to Seattle. We will be there four days. I cant wait. Ive always wanted to visit there and do a ferry ride.
And last but not least. Our brother in law has a condo in Hawaii and Ralph, Cory, Dad and I are going to use it for a week. Cory is talking about joining the miltary, if he does then we will transfer his flight to Lucy and take her instead. But otherwise he will come with us. We are very excited to take Dad there as its a place he and my Mum always wanted to go to and never made it. He still wants to go and weve thilled to make that possible for him. (thanks Bryce). It also has the added bonus that our darling Poohberry (Hayley) will be there and we can spend that week with her also. It will give her something to do also as Aaron will be deployed by then and i know shed be sad. So we are so excited to go.
So as you can see i am totally spoiled. Theres also another St George trip in there also before Seattle for Lucys tryouts for the new dance year so tons of great things to look forward too. Im sure we wont be doing this many trips ever again (tho i have plans for Ralphs 50th birthday next year) so im going to enjoy every minute of them.

  1. Wow lots of trips!!! I recognize that boardwalk in Huntington Beach. I ate at the place at the end called Ruby's Diner. And we watched all the surfers as we walked to it (it's a big surf spot). I'm also going to Seattle, but we're going across the ferry to Victoria and not actually staying in Seattle....I need to get my passport still...ugh! haha
