Poor Babes

Well Lucys had a really rough week and it had nothing to do with tending Leland last week so Lee and Carole could be with there little princess Leanna. Lucy had mentioned to me on christmas day that her side really really hurt. According to Lucy i told her. Oh yourve more then likely ate too much!!!!!! Hmm, im sure i did as i had a lot on my mind with all the issues Carole was going though at the hospital at that time with Leanna. Anyway life got very busy after that with carole and the baby and bill going home and taking care of Leland that i forgot all about it. On thursday night Lucy was in tons of pain. I told her if it got worse in the night to wake us up, otherwise we would have it checked the next day. (this was like at 11.00pm or so). Next morning she said it was worse. Ralph took her over to Riverton hospital and they were worried she had appendictis and sent her over for a C Scan. I drove over there to be with them and hours later (all that drinking before scan) we got the results. Seems she has an very large ovarian cyst. The doctor said that usually they clear up on there own in a few months but if not then she will have to have surgery to have it drained. So anyway she has been very poorly with all that. And we wasnt thilled to have to spend another holiday weekend (two in a row) with a hospital emergency, lol. Then yeserday (monday) shes down again. This time not with her cyst with with a bacteria infection. I was worried she had the flu (shes had the shot) so she came in today to be seen. Its really not been a good week for her at all. Besides not being able to tend Leland this week she also cannot dance this saturday at the basketball game. (so glad the rebelettes dont make them dance like the minerettes did when sick). But at least she gets to stay here with us another week before she goes back to tackle school again. To be honest im kinda glad we dont have to go to St George this weekend to watch her dance. Its been such an exhausting few weeks with so much hospital drama. Our little princess grandaughter is still in NICU but is doing so much better. So its nice just to be able to stay home without a trip for the next month or so.
