Heathers Blast From The Past

One of Heathers old drill friends posted these today from there Azurette days. Heather was on that drill team beween 2002/2005 and was an officer for two years. Officers were choosen on girls and not on there moms closeness to the coaches on that drill team, lol. Drill team was a lot more simple then and was more relaxed. The Azurettes made state for the first time in Heathers senior year. That was the biggest thill for us. lol. With Lucy it was that they had to win state not just make it and second place was never good enough. lol. So with Heather the stress of three years was them making state where Lucys was winning state. Im glad both girls and both teams got to do what they worked so hard for for three years. It was nice to see these pictures. We didnt have a very good camera back then and so didnt have many pictures of those days and there just wasnt facebook or blogs to brag about things on. But it was a lot of fun just like Lucys was. Im glad both girls got to be on a drill team in high school as theres so many talented girls that would love to be but just not enough spaces every year.
