Aunt Elsie Surprise Birthday Party

Last night in England my cousin Martin booked a whole hotel for the Joyce clan to celebrate his mothers (my dads older sister) 80th birthday. The hotel also had a huge room where they could party so pretty much the whole hotel was just family which had to have been just amazing. People came in from all over the place. We had really wanted to go but we didnt get the date until we had already booked to go over there in march. I had been really sad at the time but as it was with Ralphs mums passing away this week it was lucky we hadnt of booked. It would have been hard for Ralph being over there with his family issues going on. Anyway heres some pictures taken last night of the event. My dad with steve and Ann and at the end is my cousin Gary with his daughter Kellie in front and im not sure who the guy in the middle is, Im thinking its one of my cousin Lorraines sons. (she has five sons). Or maybe one of her grandkids. lol.

Next to my dad is his brother Tom and behind him is there brother Ted and at the end there older sister Rose (whos 88). My nan had 11 children and above is 6 that are still living. One (garys mom) Ivy passed away of cancer at age 40 when gary was 5 years old so 7 made it to adults. The others passed away of dumb things in there first few years like meales and stuff.

It was Kellies 25th birthday the day of the party also.

In the orange spotted dress is my Aunt Edna who is Teds wife. She has been legally blind since she was 26, long before i was born. She is amazing and can do just about anything and she knows what your doing at all times. I used to try and trick her when i was a little kid and i never could. lol.

Lady in Black at front on right is Gill (Garys wife and the person who got these pictures to me). Shes awesome and isnt she glam? Gary and Gill met when she was 16 and he knew from then on that he was going to marry her.



Garys other daughter. His family is so awesome. I think this is his son also. I havnt met his son but im sure this is who it is. Ive only met his daughters.

That cute lady in the black is my awesome cousin Lorraine, One of my best friends when i was growing up. She kept me sane when i was going though cancer with my mum as her dad my uncle Reg also passed away of cancer four months before my mum did. Middle guy is my wonderful cousin Gary whos mum also passed away of cancer. He also was so much strength to me last year and was the one who gave me my wonderful quote of Stay Postive and Beleive. I dont know what i would have done without them last year. His daugher Kellie at the end.
Elsie with her wonderful son Martin. I love him so much. He made sure every week that my mum had cancer that she got a card in the mail or a gift in the mail from him. He kept her smiling and laughing till the end and she loved him so much as i do. At her funeral he sent her a bunch of red roses with glitter all over them, the card said. The last bit of glitter for my fave blond bombshell. It made us all cry. Hes a wonderful person and we love him so much.
Not sure how Marlyn got there but sure Martin had something to do with her being so. lol.

My two awesome amazing cousins. Martin (elsies son) and Gary (ivys son, both sisters of my dad). I love them both so much and they are always there for me if i need them.
Well this shows my family or most of them overseas. Its such a large family and i have always missed them so much being so far away from them. They are all amazing people and i cant wait to see them all again in March when weve over there again. Gary and Martin have promised me a cousins night out!!!!!!!!! I really wish i could have been there but its good now that we didnt go due to family issues here. But thanks Gill (Garys wife) for getting these pictures to me so fast. Love em!
