A Wonderful Birthday

Even tho we were way to busy this weekend to plan anything special for my birthday, it was still a very wonderful day. We had to drive to Grand Junction yeserday to meet some friends that were driving in from Denver for what we call the Kittie Express. We exchange kittens or kitties for stud servce. It was the only day in the next two months that worked for all of us. But we always enjoy doing it. (We had celebrated July birthdays on July 4th when my dad was here with us all).

Anyway Ralph brought me the most special gift of all. Its a jewerly urn that goes on my neckless and which i can have some of my Mums ashes put into. I can feel like i am carrying a piece of her heart with me always. It is something very special to me which i cant explain very well. It was a very hard birthday as it was the first one that i never saw or got a call from my mum so this really made it special for me.
All my kids contacted me and my phone was ringing off the hook, i felt very loved and special. When we got home we went to dinner and Ralph also got us tickets for the REAL game next saturday at sandy.
All in all it was a wonderful day. Thank you everyone for your calls, texts, emails and any other way you let me know you cared. And thank you Ralph for always giving me amazing birthdays. (Last year he took me to Lake Powell and then sent me to England to spend time with my mum). And although my dummy cousin from England is posting on facebook that i turned 60 this year!!! Its all a liar, really! lol. I turned 51. lol. Gotta love Gary!!
