Lucy went to Bear Lake with some of her Riverton friends over the weekend while we went to Grand Junction Co. We all met up on sunday for just a couple of hours and then Ralph and i and Lucy had to head out to St George to do the long needed tour of Dixie college before Lucy could sign up for classes. We arrived there sunday night and then arrived at campus on monday morning bright and early! It ended up being pretty interesting and was a lot different then when i did it with Heather five years ago. This time the students went off on theres and the parents had there own day stuff. They gave a lot of needed information. Then we met up for lunch and then she was able to reg for her classes. Because freshman got last dips she couldnt get into any of the EMT classes she wanted but she did sign up for generals that she is required to do. She had to work her schedule around her Rebelettes schedule also but was able to do that. Then she had to meet with one of the managers at Chuck a Ramo in St George. It looks promising they just need a server for a couple of evenings a week. She just needs to have her manager at draper call them and hopefully that will be set. If not there be other jobs im sure. It was a very hot day and it was nice to get back in the car at the end, exhausted but with great A/C. lol. It was another one of those fast trips but it was nice to get away regardless. Heres a couple of pictures taken on campus.Never give in - never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force, Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. WINSTON CHURCHILL
