Ralph is the Scout Master for one of our ward troops and so July is always a very busy month for him. On the 8th July though 10th July he had to take the younger boys on there yearly scout trip. They went to Camp Tracy for a few days and work though some of the requirements that they have for there merit badges. Then on July 12th though July 17th it was the week long scout trip for the older boys. Ralph was unable to go until the Wednesday due to my dad being in town and leaving on the 13th so he headed up on the 14th. Cory headed up on the 12th with the rest of the troop. This week it was at Tony Grove in Logan Canyon. The first few days before Ralph got there was the backpacking adventure (Ralphs best part sadly), Cory got to do a 35 mile hike. Not sure how much he enjoyed it as hes not the hiker like his dad is. They returned from that part on the wednesday evening which is when Ralph got up there. On thursday they spent the day shooting. Cory as always was one of the best shooters out of the whole ward. They had a competion, a shoot off on the saturday and Cory came in second place. Only to an adult whos in the National Guard and works for them full time. So he did great. Friday they spent a day with horses. Both Ralph and Cory decided not to ride them. (weve not much into horses in our family!!!). They both arrived home around mid day on Saturday. They had a fun time but both were glad to be home. Heres some pictures Ralph took, too bad he didnt take any of the shoot off.
