Above is Hayley at the top of some hiking trail in Hawaii called the Stairway. For some reason they have guards at the bottom every day to STOP people from going up. So what everyone trys to do is get there early enough before the guard comes. I really dont know why that is? Maybe if Hayley reads my blog she will leave a comment and explain!!! It makes me think its not safe? But then why would kids want to climb it? Right? Isnt that how you think they would think? But anyway she got there at 5.00am and it was her third try as the other days the guard beat them there. This time they beat the guard and were able to climb it. (i wonder why they havnt thought of just boarding it off????) I guess once they got down the guard was there but was okay about it, which was just as well as he came into her T Mobile store she works at the next day!! She said it was 3922 stairs and its all in fog so you cant see a thing when you go up and down. Maybe thats just as well so you cant see how high you are. lol. She said she lost count of the steps after 5, thats why we sent her to byu Hawaii so she can count higher then that!! Once they got to the top the view was kinda foggy but is suppose to be really good on a clear day. lol. Anyway heres some pictures of her and the stairway and views. We havnt seen her since we parted in Atlanta in Jan after comming back from England. Weve really excited to see her when she comes visits end of july for two weeks.
