Drama with a banana

Well today was pretty interesting. Today i scanned my record number of items. 71 charts and one banana!! Yes you heard correct a banana! Our IT guy Gill always comes out from the big house (what we call granger medical) once a week and he just does the rounds asking if weve had any computer problems or if we have questions. Well i had no sooner told him. No everythings fine and running good and he had walked to one of the doctors pod when wham i had a paper jam. So i opened the scanner pulled out the paper and slamed it shut. And guess what? Somehow my banana that was sitting by it in all innocent got pulled into it as it slamed shut. It still had the peel on and it was the end part that got pulled in. But imgine my horror seeing it going into the scanner. It wasnt easy to pull it out too. I had to pull and pull before i figured out to open the scanner again!!!! I think i was in a panic and thinking how dumb i would sound if i had to go find Gill and tell him i had a banana stuck in the scanner!!!!!!!! Jodie was laughing so hard i though she was going to pee her pants!!!!! Maybe she did!!!!!!!!!! Anyway it finally came out and it wasnt too damaged. But it had been opened by the scanner so i though i had better eat it soon before it went bad. Just as i was starting to eat it my boss Jen came around the corner to see how my day was going!!!!!!!! After telling her my story and having to listen to her laugh at me and tell me monkey jokes she then asked if it was okay. Well of course i didnt have a clue she was asking about the scanner! I felt sure she was asking after my banana. So i picked it up and told her it was okay and that the peel had been broken but it was still good and i could eat it. She listened but i couldnt figure out why she was cracking up until i figured it out!!! She didnt give a dam about my banana she was asking how the scanner was!!! Yeah i felt pretty dumb. It made me think of my mum who has dozens of stories like this one. lol. In fact when i told Ralph about it the first thing he said was,
Are you by any chance related to your mother!!!!!!!
