Rebelettes/friends and Lucys hard decisons

I love this picture of the Rebelettes, Lucy is the one at the top of the truck on the left hand side. It was taken at there Homecoming Parade.
Girls at Homecoming.

Picture of Lucy and Ruth. Now sure what there doing here. This isnt a Rebelette picture but it somehow was in this file. lol.
The Rebelettes at trunk and treating or whatever its called.
Lucy and her friends again. Another picture that sneaked in. Although the girl next to her is a rebelette also.

The rebelettes did a fundraiser to get costume money. Boy was i glad this was one golf fundrasier i didnt have to be involved in. So nice that its the only one they did all year and parents were not involved.
More pictures from the golf fundrasier.

And looks like Lucy and her friends sneaked in one more time. I just had the above pictures on a file and hadnt posted them on my blog so though i would do so.
And yes im sure most of you have heard that Lucy is coming home tomorrow and quiting Dixie and her beloved Rebelettes. It was not an easy decison for her to make and one she had been stuggling with for a month or so. She totally loves St George and totally loves loves the Rebelettes and everything to do with dance. She was also looking foward to the basketball games and the trip to Hawaii in Feb 2011 where she would have not only danced over there at a basketball game but also got to hang out with her sister Hayley who lives there and met her boyfriend Aaron. So it was a very very tough decison. But there was a lot of things that Lucy could no longer deal with there. Nothing to do with her team mates but her friends there who had made some very very bad decsions in the way they were living there life. Lucy had tried to ignore it and contine with what she was doing but there partying and keeping her awake all night and other things i wont go into had just made Lucy an exhausted wreak. She had emailed me tuesday telling me how much she was looking fun to Hawaii with her team mates and that she was planning on trying out for the team again next year as she loved it so much and then during the night she reached her breaking point and called us and told us she felt she really needed to walk away from everything that was going on around her. We admire her so much, we know this wasnt an easy decison for her to make and she has had to give up some things she totally loved. But we admire and respect her decison to walk away from something that is totally un acceptable to live around. I know the comming months are not going to be easy for her as i know she will miss her team mates. I hope she can find her notch in life and move on from all this. Her drill coach is totally upset that she has had to do this but does understand her reasoning as we do.
Love you Lucy! Tons of hugs!
