Nissan Versus Garbage Truck

Well we sure seem to be having some bad luck outside our house right now. Last wednesday Heather had her car parked outside our house and it was garbage day. The trucks came around our circle and all was good. Heather went out to leave in Dans Jeep and noticed all these marks on her car. There was a rubber mark all along the side of her car and a few scratches, nothing major but very annyoying all the same. Oh and also her mirror was hanging off but luckily it went back on okay. Her car has been parked there all week and hasnt left our house for anything so it hadnt been anywhere. We called waste management and a guy came out and looked at it and arranged for the truck driver to bring back the truck next day. Anyway they came out and i came home from work to be there also when they came and they took all these measurments and decided that it couldnt have been the truck as the rubber on the truck was an inch different then on the car!!! I didnt think till afterwards that maybe with an empty load that could be the case but anyway they really didnt think that they had done it. We really think they did but!!!!!!!!!! without any witnesses theres really nothing we can do. Its not worth filing a police report for the same reason. They say they didnt do it soooo Heather has to let it go, nothing else to do. Luckily the rubber did wash off and Ralph said the scratches are easy ones that you can hide so it will all be okay. But yeah its still very annyoying but even more so when you dont know for sure who did it. I would like to think that they would have stopped had they did it but someone of course didnt. They said someone else must have done it but why anyone else would be driving alongside her car like that, that close when theres a wide circle is beyond me. There truck is always driving close to the cars. Oh well nothing we can do, no one saw what happened soooo time to move on. Weve just have to have her move her car into our driveway on wednesdays from now on to avoid them. What a pain!!!
