LAKE POWELL AND 3RD BIRTHDAY BASH

We just had a fun three days at Lake Powell. Ralph and i went down wednesday. Heather got us awesome rooms at the Lake Powell resort on the marina. We spent wednesday settling in and hugging Heather. Thursday ralph, Heather and i drove down to flagstaff. We did some shopping for London, had yummy lunch and meet a breeder friend of mine that drove in from Phoenix. When we got back Hayley, Lucy and there friends Nicki and Eden had arrived. They were camping ten mins from us right by the beach. We spent the evening with them and Heather. Friday which was also my 50th birthday we spent having a yummy breakfast at the fancy lodge restaurant where Heather works. Then a fun day on the beach with all the kids plus Heather friends. Of course we got burnt!!!! That evening Heather and Paul took us to the restaurant where she works and we had star treatment. Truthfully the best meal of my life. It was wonderful, thank you so much guys. Then i had like all the waiters etc singing happy birthday and my cake had a scottish flag on it!!!!!! Thanks Paul!!!!!!!!!! lol. It was a fun evening tho. Then we spent the rest of the evening with all the kids. It was a fast but very very fun trip. Saturday we came home and now Heather and I are rushing around getting ready for London. We leave first thing in the morning.

JMA BIRTHDAY BASH TWO

ME WHEN I ARRIVED THIS MORNING.

OUR CAKE, IT WAS JODIES 30TH BIRTHDAY ALSO, BUT THE 30 IS IN WHITE AND HARD TO SEE, CANT THINK OF A BETTER PERSON TO SHARE MY BIRTHDAY WITH, BOTH ARE JULY 24TH.

I GUESS IM OLD AS MOLD!!!!

WELL I ARRIVED TO WORK THIS MORNING WITH A BEANS AND BREW FOR JODIE AND A SMOOTIE FOR ME AS WE SHARE THE SAME BIRTHDAY FRIDAY AND SHE AND THE OTHERS HAD MADE QUITE A MESS OF MY AREA OR HOLE!!! IT WAS IN MY DRAWERS IN MY FAN EVERYWHERE. IT WAS A FUN MORNING OF CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY WITH MY JMA FAMILY. AT LUNCH WE HAD A YUMMY CAKE AND A REP BROUGHT LUNCH. IM SO LUCKY I WORK WITH THE BEST PEOPLE EVER. THEY ARE THE GREATEST AND MADE ME FEEL VERY LOVED AND SPECIAL THIS MORNING. THANKS GUYS LOVE YA.

Busy Weekend And My First Birthday Bash.

This weekend has proven to be just crazy but tons of fun. Because its my 50th birthday this comming friday and im leaving for London right after my birthday and the last weekend ive see ralph in the next three we did some fun stuff yeserday. Ralph took me to lunch and dinner, dinner Hayley and Lucy came along. We also went on the temple tour in south jordan. Today sunday the kids had the first of my birthday parties as most will not see me on my birthday. It was a hot day but it was fun doing it outside. This week we head for Lake Powell and then London.

Not quite show what this picture is about. My boss came around the corner with her camera so i was kinda messing around and she told me to grab my little flag that i got from mcgrafts fish house and sits on my computer. So i held it up and yeah she not only took the picture but it also apeared on facebook this evening. Gotta love my boss!!

Happy Birthday Carole

I know i did a birthday greeting for her when i did Lees a weeks ago but it was a long time ago. So just wanted to wish my beauiful daughter in law a great birthday. Shes a great addition to our family and a great extra daughter for us. Besides that shes the best wife Lee could ever have and shes just the best Mother our little grandbaby Leland could ever possibly have. He really hit the jackpot when they were handing out parents up in heaven.

Congrats Jay on passing citizenship tests.

Jay passed his citizenship tests yeserday. He gets swore in sometime in august and then he will be an american citizen. Dont ask me why it wasnt done when they became powells back in the 80 but somehow the courts and our lawyer screwed up and it wasnt done for them. We tired to get it done for them when we figured it out but because they were over 16 immigrations just kept blowing us off. Your not top important when its england you come from here in utah it seems even if yourve done things the legal way. But anyway 700.00 later its done now and weve very proud of him. The above picture was taken when emmalee was getting her art award a few months ago at the conference center, i call it the proud hubby picture, lol. he looks just so proud of his wife getting the award.
Lee is mailing in his request for citizenship in a couple of weeks, hes working on all the paperwork right now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEE AND CAROLE

ON SUNDAY WE GOT TOGETHER AND CELEBRATED LEE AND CAROLES BIRTHDAYS. LEES IS TOMORROW ON JULY 8TH AND CAROLES IS NEXT WEEK ON JULY 16TH. WE HAD A FUN AFTERNOON AND EVENING TOGETHER AND I MADE ENGLISH PIE MASH WHICH IS EVERYONES FAVE DISH. LELAND HAD HIS FIRST TASTE OF IT BUT PULLED SOME FUNNY FACES, COULD BE THE VINEGAR ON IT HOPEFULLY AND NOT THE DISH. OR MAYBE IT WAS THE GREEN GRAVY HE DIDNT LIKE WHO KNOWS! BUT ANYWAY IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE THEM OVER, THEY ARE SUCH A CUTE COUPLE AND ARE SUCH CUTE CUTE PARENTS FOR LELAND.

A VERY FUN 4TH OF JULY 2009

We had an awesome 4th of july this year. We started a fun tradition last year of letting this be the holiday that Lee and Carole do for everyone. There apt backs onto West Jordan Park and just about everything is going on that day. Carnivals, gift booths, rodeo, tons of families having pinics and bbq and of course the end of the day being an amazing fire work display. We took Lees bbq over to the park and our shade and chairs and a table and we had a feast. Hayley was in idaho so wasnt there and Heather is in powell but the rest of us were there. It was a lot of fun, with great things to eat and great to spend the time together. At the end of the day Ralphs parents and Connie came and joined us to watch the fireworks. It was a great 4th of July. You should come and join us next year!!
