Got invited on a double date with Jay Os a few weeks ago. Had not posted a pic of him with his date as do not want to run the risk of it going around the internet.We went to see the scrolls downtown and it was very interesting. This was where he wanted to play in the kids room, making things out of clay. It was a fun evening. That's all im going to say:)
The grandkids had there easter hunt at carole and lees. Missed not having Ian there of course! But he had one in Washington DC. Here are some pictures. Grandpa went a little crazy with pictures as always.
First Friday of April saw us driving to St George and back again in one evening. This time it was the drill team Lucy has coached the last two years showcase. We arrived with just twenty mins to spare to get to the showcase, Whew! So grabbed Lucy at her home and headed right there. Lucys team did great. We are just so proud of what she has done the past two years with this HS drill team. This year they made state for the first time ever and there routines this year were amazing and so much improved over last years team. What an amazing teacher she is. And seeing her solo girls was great. So much talent she has to give these young ladies. What was really cool was they had the new team for next year come out at the end. One of the girls who made the team is in fact the daughter of her Rebs coach Kori. Kori was her amazing coach for three years when she was on the Rebs. We love that lady, and now Lucy is coaching her daughter. How cool is that!! Kori is still the Rebs coach and has been for 18 years. In fact she wanted Lucy to be one of the judges this year for the new team tryouts but Lucy wasn't able too due to her crazy schedule. But so glad we will get to see Kori again for another three years. Ralph is pretty crazy with the camera when Lucys not looking. She was sorting out the sound system. After the showcase we went to Texas Roadhouse and then the long drive home. Nice to fall into bed on arrival:). We only have to do that one more time this year for Lucys Recital next month.
