Fun Day at Southend in England

Southend is only about ten miles from my brothers home so today we spent the day there. It was warm and sunny and a very nice day. I used to spend a lot of time growing up here and my parents used to go dancing here when they were dating over fifty years ago.

The pier is a mile long and the longest in the world. Ive walked it many times and yes can still do it. We walked down there and drove the train back as it has a train on it.

Few days in Colchester Essex, England.

We spent a few days at my parents home, they live in a quaint little town that still has part of the orignal roman wall. It has tons of history around it. Even the hospital where we went yeserday when she had her chemo is hundreds of years old.

A museum in colchester we went in that build in 1719, it was very interesting in there seeing pictures and items used by the orginal families there.

My Mum and Dad at a Pub resaurant we went to, it had amazing food and right across the street is the site that orginal witches used to be burnt many years ago. Lucky for us they dont do that any more.

To get to the chemist to get my mums 20 different meds my dad and i had to walk across a huge field and then climb up and cross over a train track. We had no idea our sweet Heather was taking this picture of course.

In the musuem again, of course Heather had to dress up as boadica warrier. She fought the romans who took over colchester and they burnt it to the ground. (the warriers that is not heather)

First couple of days in England

Well Heather and i made it safe and sound to england. It was wonderful seeing my parents and brother and his family again. My brothers family had to leave the country the same day we arrived for a house hes buying in bulgaria which he had to close on the next day but weve staying at his house and we got to see them for one day at least. Above is his view from his deck, he lives on the top of a hill and the views are amazing.
