Changes At Work

The last month has been crazy at work with different changes. I know in a post in the past i had mentioned that the indexing was being done at the main office now and i was just getting everything ready and scanned for them. That was decided last sept as the main office had wanted it to be all done over there. (Riverton office sends theres over there). Our doctors had not wanted me to have it taken away and so a middle man had been decided. I was scheduling on phones in the morning and scanning in afternoon ready for the indexing staff to take over. Well after six months of them indexing not many people were happy. Docs couldnt find things in charts, or things were in the wrong charts etc. I had always had less then a one per cent error rate and the doctors were not happy with the changes. To cut a long story short and not to talk about all the problems it was creating for the docs. Well! Im not on phones in am and im just full time scanner and indexer. Truthfully i didnt mind one way or the other. I like talking to our pts and i liked making sure the docs schedules were in order. Like i said i have less then a one per cent error rate with scanning and a zero erro rate with scheduling. (i think its zero with scanning too but i think they have to give a number with that job so they said its less then one per cent, lol). It really was the docs wasnt happy not myself. So im no full time again with scanning and no longer on phones. I miss it but i love scanning so im still happy. It did mean i had to move to another temp office upstairs as the one i was in was the phone room and they need to put someone else in there on phones. I still work out of Jen (managers) office half the day and then the other half im upstairs in OB/GYN business office. It is only temp until i can get the office back in the lab again. (that was taken away by a doctor that needed it). They are building a medical office next to us and the doctor is moving there and i will get my old office back in the lab/xray area. Then i will be there full time and i will do everything in that room. It will be nice. But might take a year to build new building next to us. lol. But its all good. Another great thing that happened is that the doctors decided i wasnt being paid enough and i got a huge raise. Like one i couldnt belive. I cant say on here but it was big and has made a huge different in my budget. I am very blessed to work for the doctors and company i do. They treat me so well and i love my job and the people i work with. I have been here almost 11 years now and although they have over 300 employees beween all our buildings the managers at the big house all know me by name and will always come and talk to me. Even when lee and his family were visiting the other week one stopped by to talk to them and see who they were. Its funny as i took most of my coworkers off facebook as i didnt want to see the problems with each other after work lol, (although i love to work with them i dont want to bring it home) the managers at the big house all requested me as friends on there lol. I though that was funny. But im honored that they requested me as i know they didnt all the employees. Im glad they see me as a vauled employee as well as a facebook friend. But anyway for those of you that visit me there. Im now on first floor in the door right before you walk into OB. You cant miss it. Its locked as kids try to open it all the time lol but just knock on the door and i will open it. Leland has already found me of course. lol. But i just wanted to say that i really love my job. Im a very lucky person. I have a great hubby and a great family. And a great job. What more could anyone want?
