On Mothers day we kinda had to do it over two days as so many of us work on the weekend. On saturday Lee and family and Jay and family came over to join us for pizza and cupcakes. We exchanged gifts that evening with them. Carole got a very special gift this year but im going to blog about that in next blog so im not going to say much here other then it was Wicked Tickets. The afternoon/evening was a lot of fun, Cory joined us and the kids were just so much freaking fun in the yard. A funny thing Leland said was when Grandpa was chasing him around the tramp making monster noises. Leland loves to be chased. Anyway he yells out to Grandpa. DONT KILL ME, IM DADDYS FRIEND! lol We laughted so long and hard at that. But it was just a nice relaxing time with family and enjoying the nice weather and letting the kids enjoy the yard for the first time this year. It was great having them all over. Then on sunday, Heather and Dan came over and of course Cory got double duty. We had a nice dinner and exchanged gifts again. Hayley also called. It was wonderful seeing all the kids and talking to Hayley on the phone. I am truly blessed with the kids and family i have. I was so spoiled and have all kinds of flowers and gift cards and potted plants and handmade pots to enjoy. Thank you guys. Oh the picture of Heather and Dan was them trying out there new tent. We dont have anyone moving into our front yard. lol. Anyway hope you all had as wonderful a Mothers Day as we did. It still seems strange not being able to talk to my mum on mothers day but i know for a fact that wherever she is she was partying it up on sunday. lol.
Ps I forgot to mention Lucy was down for the weekend for mothers day, sorry babes!
