Does everyone know someone in there life that fits this bill? lol. You really cant do anything about it so you just accept it. To do otherwise would just pull you down to there level. I guess its all about learning to live with people with all personaitys. Once in awhile it rears its ugly head again and so you sit and ponder why they became this way. Its sad and you can only feel pity not anger towards them.
It makes me more grateful for the wonderful hubby i have and my children and there wifes. It has to be life experiences and a disgrunted life that make people that way. All you can do is support that person and hope one day happiness and a fulfilling life will come there way also.
Keep them in your prayers that one day they will see what they do and want to change, Until they do they cant.. We think they really dont know and there pleads of innocent to others around them in there minds are very real to them. Its good they have love and support. And good that our person never reads my blog. lol.
hahah so this has nothing to do with this post but I though I should tell you.. that quote on the top "never give up. Never never give up. winston churchill" is the reasoning behind our Lanakila theme for drill.. lanakila means to victory and there is a picture of winston churchill doing a sign that looks like a peace sign but it means victory. so thats why we do it in our pictures a lot.. just thought you should know cuz morgan always talked about that quote.

ReplyDeleteBut that makes me soooo happy. Winston Churchill is the greatest leader of all time and im thilled your drill teachers saw that and based this years theme after him and one of his quotes.
After all she also has been the greatest leader the Minerettes has ever had. What other drill teacher in history (of drill) has taken her team and recd four state titles out of five?

There is someone in my life that has a REALLY bad mental disorder and I didn't realize how bad it was until we went to Jersey and my aunt who was a psych major explained it to me! I'm actually pretty interested in psychology, but had never studied bipolar that much. I did NOT realize how bad she had it! She just drove me CRAZY!!!! (its my mother in law by the way...and that makes it that much more difficult). One thing is that they have grandiose thinking when they're manic and think they have special powers or gifts...yeah one day she decided she didn't want to be mormon anymore because her therapist told her she had the gift of healing (not sure if that is completely true) and she joined sufism (which is a mistic form of islam) and heals people now (I wouldn't doubt that she is healing people because she believes that she has this power and is telling people this (particularly people who are also crazy and are looking for alternative healing) then their minds are going to heal them because they believe it). Anyway she is absolutely crazy and very hard to deal with! haha! When Phil was a teenager, she diagnosed him with bipolar and told the doctor all of the symptoms that he didn't really have and they put him on meds. We just found out that her brothers and sisters had tried to talk her out of it, but she thought they were conspiring against her. Anyway so I thought she had diagnosed herself with the disorder, so I didn't think she had it that bad. So this post is very relevant to what has been on my mind! haha!

It was great seeing you and your family christmas day, how fun that you were working the same day carole was there, too bad you wasnt assg to her.
