Above is a picture of a poster that you will see all around south jordan for the next few months. Lucy is the tallest girl on the right. Theres other teams in the poster but lucy just took a pic of the part that had the minerettes in it. lol.Other news is lucy fractured her other foot today during dance at school. Three days before Region and a week before State. The two biggests comps of the year and the two events that in fact is what the minerettes work so hard for all year. Not only is she terribly upset that she wont be able to dance but she is very upset at the effect this has on the team by her being pulled out at such short notice. They will have to redo all there dances during the next few days. We will still be there at region and state cheering them on, as this is a team and not just about Lucy but its very hard on the team to have had this happened. We can only pray it dont runied there chances. I think you properly have to be on a team at some point in your life to understand how this has effected her. Region and State are the biggest events of the year!! All the girls have worked so hard this year and some of there routines have been unbeatable so far this year. Lucy will be able to dance at showcase on march 27th which is the minerettes end of year event and hope that some of you can join us for that.
Go Minerettes!!!
Oh, so sad! I feel terrible for her! She does look fantastic on the poster though! That probably doesn't matter much to her right now though. Hang in there Lucy!
ReplyDeleteI think that first comment came through that this is Paul. It isn't this is Thelissa!
ReplyDeleteThanks thelissa. Yeah shes heartbroken right now but shes determined to be there for her team in the next couple of weeks during this in the best way she can. Shed be there cheerleader, lol. She worked hard to get the team to the point there at and she still wants that state ring very bad!!!! The poor girls had to dance from early hours this morning till seven pm this evening to re do all the dances. She feels bad but thereve all called her and told her how much they love her and to get well soon.
