Ralphs Hawaii 5 0 Trip, Last Day

Well the last day came around way too soon. We had an overnight flight at 10.00pm so we were able to do some last min things. We spend the morning on the beach relaxing one more time. Then Ralph decided he wanted to go hike again, this time to Koko Head. That one i stayed at the bottom. Its like a ladder straight up steep up a moutain. So he did that one and i sat at the bottom. Hayley told me he would cry at the top as its very hard at the top but he didnt do that but he said he almost threw up. lol. Theres no way i could have done that one. After that we went and ordered the flowers for her beach wedding next week and then we did a drive around the island a little. We went around the PCC, we didnt go in but drove around it and then drove out to North Shore to watch the surfers out there. The waves are a lot different this time of year. Then we had to head out to the airport. And back to the real world which was 16 degrees when we landed this morning. UGH! Only thing that got me off the plane was knowing we were going back on tuesday. lol. But it was a great trip and we are going to plan one more trip out there other then the wedding for feb 2013 before Aaron gets transfered to another base. Im very glad we were able to do this for Ralphs birthday it was totally awesome.

The view from our room.

Koko Head, i guess it goes straight up towards the top, from the bottom it just looks like a ladder in the moutain.

Ralph at the beach. We always went in the morning and evening. It was pretty empty then. And this time of year its not as busy as it was last june. But even with the crowds for us this was the place. We were not happy in our location last year and we in fact put 1.200 miles on our car trying to get to places we wanted to be at. This time we didnt even use a tank of gas and in fact for two days we didnt even get our car out of the parking lot.
Happy 50th Birthday Ralph. Love you so much. Heres to another 50!
