This day we went to Ala Moana which is just along the coast from where we were staying. In fact you can see where we were staying behind us in this picture. It was very quite and peaceful here and we walked around shops and walked along the beach and the boats. They had a glass bottom boat ride we wanted to do and almost did but then we though we would save that for next week when we come out for Hayley and Aarons wedding and my dads with us. He would enjoy that. After this and lunch we went to Diamond Head for a hike. Oh boy! It was a lot harder then the hike i did last year with everyone! I am afraid of heights and by the time i got to the top i was having a hard time with hyperventilation. It was brought on my fear. I cant explain it but when im up high i can feel myself falling over the edge and it creates the problem i just mentioned. At the top theres also about 200 steep stone steps going into a bunker. Your already exhausted by the climb up there and then the steps. Add that to my height problem and i was shaking and just in tears. Ralph wanted to go down but i didnt want to spoil it for him so i made it up the stairs into the bunker. At that point you are suppose to climb out of a window and see the amazing views from up there. Well i couldnt do that, i stayed in the bunker, lol, Made it all the way there and couldnt get out. My legs were rubber and the heights were making me very sick. So i stayed in there and Ralph was able to go out and enjoy the view. On the way down i had to walk behind him very close so i could only see him to get down the stairs. They were so high. Anyone thats done this before knows what im talking about. lol. Im glad i can stay i did it, well almost, i did get to the top, lol, Just couldnt bring myself to climb out of a window at the top, lol. That evening we also went to a wonderful place called Zias to eat with Hayley and Aaron. It was great. Another wonderful day.
