Sleepless In Seattle

Well thats not quite true, I have been sleeping in every morning since we arrived here. We are having a wonderful time. This post is the first day which was yeserday. We went on a Ducks Tour which is a land and water tour. A cruise around the bay in the early evening. A walk along the water front. The space needle of course which for me is a hard one as i dont like heights at all. We wanted to go on the Underground tour but the next tour was four hours away when we were there so we didnt want to wait. We also walked around the city and did some shopping at the gift stores there. It is just a wonderful way to spend our 25th wedding anniversary. Away from the everyday stresses. Just the two of us. Its a great trip and weve loving it. Heres some pictures.

Ralph on the cruise around the bay.
At the top of the space needle.
And at the bottom. lol.
On the crusie around the bay with the seattle skyline in the background.

Thanks so much Ralph!!!!!!!!!!!
Getting on the Duck Tour. Its a great tour and everyone should do it if there ever in seattle.

On the cruise.
At the top of the space needle. I had to sit down. I get sick very easily up high.
View from the needle.

Ralph took this, not sure why. lol.
A very cool market we didnt have time to explore. Pike Market.

Some Indians were making one of those huge giant Totem Pole.
Okay this is the floating house from Sleepless in Seattle. Tom Hanks lived here in the movie with his son. The chairs have been left outside from the movie.

Not sure what hammer boy is about but he does this all year round. Hammers that is. He takes one day off a year which is Labor Day.
And the Duck tour bus. It was so much fun having a tour on land and in the water.
On the duck tour.
These boats were from the Deadlest Catch Show. They are getting them ready to go out and firm another season.

I had one of the cruise ship leaving too for Alaska which Heather took a few years back but i forgot to put it on. But it looks like a nice large white cruise ship. lol. We had a wonderful day. Our hotel at the marriott is awesome. Dan got us a sweet deal. I feel totally spoiled as i should do on my 25th anniversary. Im so happy Ralph loves me enough to plan this trip for us to celebrate it. Love you so much Ralph. Thanks so much for this trip.

  1. Looks amazing! It's so funny that we keep going to the same places! I wish we would have spent some time in Seattle instead of going just straight to the ferry.
I can't get over that boat that can drive on the road! That is the funniest thing I've ever seen! That would be SO cool to just drive right into the water! hahaha!
Ralph planned this?? So I just have 21 years to go till Phil will plan vacations for us? haha jk.

  2. Happy Anniversary! Howard is from Seattle, so we've been there several times, but we've never ridden the Ducks or taken the cruise--have to try that sometime!

I had planned Hawaii for June thinking that was our anniversary trip but he surprised me with this. We always do trips with others and he wanted us to have one alone.
