Okay i added this in a couple of days after doing this post. Your have to read post below next picutre. Fun seeing how excited they were after the awards and looks like Lucy was already spreading the news. lol. As much fun as it was to hear about there win, No i am glad Lucy is on Rebelettes now. Its a lot more fun and relaxed then Minerettes ever was. No one has any idea of the amount of work and time that goes behind getting the moment above, which is why im so thilled for them. Just this picture above was from this year. Below pictures are from last year.
Yeah i know this is last years picture of when the minerettes won state but guess what!! They just won it again!!! I dont have any pictures this year as Lucys no longer on the team so though i would share these happy pictures from last year. Its the greatest feeling in the world to hear the results read and see your daughters happy face knowing they are the best in State. I am so proud of the minerettes and the fact this is the 6th State Title in 8 years they have won. Yes 8. It should have been 7 as they were cheated out of the title two years ago when it was proven a team cheated but was allowed to keep the title but even so!!!! 6 is still awesome. These girls are perfection. I know the hard work that goes behind it and they totally deserve it. Way to go Minerettes. You guys are amazing. (Yes thats Lucy with her blond hair, lol.)

That was the BEST day last year, after 3 years of all that HARD WORK! Thanks to Lucy for letting Becca keep her program from this year. After I heard that Becca was one of the Minerettes on the cover, I told her to see if they had any left to buy, so we could see the picture! Lucy was so sweet to give hers to Becca!
ReplyDeleteOh thats awesome, im glad she did too. Yes last year was the best. I think it was extra sweet due to all the crap the year before so made it all so much more worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteIt was still so exciting to hear they had won again, not enough to want to go be there all day, lol. But glad they brought it home again.
