Lelands birthday is of course on Christmas Eve so theres always a big party for him at his house. Last year my Mum was able to attend and it was very special that she was able to attend his first birthday party as it had been such a hard year for her and we never knew if she was going to be able to make the trip out to us. As many of you know she passed away a couple of weeks after his party. My Mum had been upset last year as some people show up to his party that my mum felt were only going in order to check her out and what she was going though (her words not mine). She was upset that they would try and take something she could only do once away from her. But there wasnt much we could do about it. Some people just worry about what they want to do and not about how someone else is feeling. Even if that person only has a few weeks to live and the event was extra special to them. So anyway it was really sad my mum wasnt here this year, she so would have loved all these christmas events with her grandkids and great grandkids. But Leland had a blast as always and heres some pictures of the event. I love randon pictures so thats what you get on here. lol.

This quit is just amazing. Carole made it out of all of Lelands clothes from birth to 12 months. Really!!! Its just wonderful. I cant imgine the hours and hours of work that went into it. He also has a pillow case to match. What a great thing to do with clothes you end up giving away anyway. This way shed always have this memory of his first year. Its twin size so goes on his nice new big boy bed.
