These pictures were taken a couple of months ago at a weekend trip that my dad took with his brothers and sisters. Above is my Uncle Ted on the end with my Uncle Ron opp him (and next to my dad) both brothers of my dad. He also has a brother Tom still living. Then in the back is my Aunt Rose and Aunt Elsie (sisters of my dad) and there hubbys and wifes. Aunt Ivy (another sister) passed away from cancer quite awhile back. There were seven of them still living when i grew up but there were 11 total. There is just the six of them now. They had a great great together and my dad said this was a great place to eat, great fish n chips and is taking us there when we go in March. Yummy!!!!
My sweet Uncle Ted and his wife Edna. She is blind and used to have a guide dog called Togo when i was a kid that i totally loved. Hense the reason our golden is called Togo. They were great aunts and uncles to me.
This is my dads oldest sister and my Nans first child, Rose. (my dad was the 10th out of 11). Her hubby next to her is 94. Sadly i just heard that my Uncle Bill had a stoke last week and is not doing so well right now. They used to live in the next street to me when i was growing up with my Nan so i saw them every day as a child.
Another picture of the clan. That beauitful lady in the silver is my Aunt Elsie, she will be 80 next month!!! Can you beleive it? Her hubby, my sweet Uncle Reg is the one who passed away of cancer in august 2009.
I love the Joyce clan. They were such great Aunts and Uncles to me when i was growing up and i have such wonderful memorys of them all. I cant wait to see them all again in March.
