Visiting Mum,Nanny and Wife

The first week when i arrived before the family we took care of funeral issues. Most had been done by my dad and brother steve before i arrived but some still had to be done. Ann and i went out and picked out her clothes to dress her in. It was very hard but she had given us an idea before she passed away what she wanted so we were able to find something very special for her. The hardest part was when ann and i went and dressed her. I know she was there giving us the strenght to do that otherwise we just couldnt have done it. But it was the last thing we could do for her and we were very grateful for that. Then my dad, Ann, Steve and myself spent some time with her and said our goodbyes. They dont have viewings over there which i think is nicer. Why have people come and stare at you when your dead if they didnt come see you when alive? Sorry but thats how i see it. Its just private for very close family over there and its what ive told Ralph and the kids that i want when my time comes. When the kids and Ralph arrived we took them also so they could say there goodbyes. I said my goodbyes again. She looked so pretty and it just broke my heart leaving her there and her not going home with us. I will never stop missing her. It was very sad but goodbyes needed to be said.
