Family overseas and update on mum

I thought i would post some pictures my brother Steve sent me today taken from new years eve. Living out here for so many years its always been soo one sided and not many people even know i have a whole huge family overseas. My dad was the 10th child of 11 kids and my mum the youngest of 5 so i grew up with dozens of uncles and aunts and millions of cousins. And yes ive stayed in touch with most of them over the years even if i havnt seen them all. Now with facebook its easier and most of my cousins are on there and i love it. Now our kids are older i plan on doing better to visit and see them.
Update on mum, shes given us quite a scare since new years, she hasnt been able to eat and walk and just has been sleeping all the time. Her doctor went to her house today to give her an exam (yeah those of you that dont agree with there health system, what doctor do you know over here that would do that on a saturday evening over here?) he said shes just totally exhausted and has some acid problems which is making it hard for her to eat. Some side effects from some IV treatment she had for her liver and legs. Hes putting her in the Mcmillian Hospice tomorrow for a few days so she can get one on one care and help her get over this. Hopefully in a few days shed be feeling better. Its only five minutes from there house so easy for my dad to visit her. My dad has told me to stay home right now and unless things change i will and will go out in feb for a couple of weeks. Tho he has promised me he will call me day or night if he needs me there. I am staying postive that she will get thought this and will be with us for many months yet. Above is a picture of them on new years eve. Hard to belive shes so sick, shes a real trooper.

This is my brother Steve and his wife Ann. Ann is a cancer survier herself. She had breast cancer when she was 20 years old and engaged to steve. She had both breasts removed (at 20!!) and has gone on to have 3 kids since and has been clear for over twenty years. Shes been a great help for my mum as she knows first hand how terrible cancer is.

This is my mum and dad, steve and ann and there three boys, theres also a long haired kid in the picture, im guessing hes a friend of the boys, have no idea who he is, lol.

This is mum and steve and anns oldest son Jack, hes lucys age 17. Everyone says hes just like my dad at this age.
