Was looking at some of the pictures on Hayleys camera today and it really made me miss New York. Yes with all the crowds and rushing around and all that traffic!!! In that top picture, the traffic was moving or trying to. lol. But how would you like to drive in that everyday? lol. Much easier on the subway! Add that to our last day there with the worse snow storm that they had seen in five years!!!!!!!! And yeah we were still crazy enough to walk about 30 blocks that day until Hayleys feet were so cold she couldnt feel them. Then we went back to the hotel for the constant supply of Hot choc they had waiting for us (free). It was a great trip and one weve always remember. Life is about building memorys with the people you love. Its what they will carry all there lifes. I hope i can go there again one day. Weve saving hard now for lucys last trip next march which properly will be floida again and also to go to London. Ralph got his passport ordered today and lucy and cory will order theres next week. Means making tons of cut backs and no weekend trips this summer (other then Lake powell for my birthday and ralph and cory going to a scout camp) but it will be worth it. I really need to go home again. New York has brought out the city side of me again. lol. I guess you can take the girl out of the city but never the city out of the girl!!
AND DID I MENTION AT ALL, THAT I REALLY MISS NEW YORK!!!!
Me too! We're probably going to this summer. Did I ever tell you that my dad drove in that city? I was nervous, but he did well. I was mostly nervous about the parking situation. I am just dying for a Mamoon's falafel! :D
