Okay two posts in one evening. That was so i could do a post on the Sandbar and the last few days and be done with Hawaii. I still have a bunch of posts to do on what we were up to the first few days home. Whew!! There were so many more pictures we could have taken but we have so many Hawaii pictures already from other visits that we didnt do it. Anyway we did have a wonderful trip and we are excited to go visit again in May to meet our new Grandbaby.
First few pictures were taken at Waikiki where we stayed last two visits. We went there after going to see our little grandson on one of those 3D ultrasounds. What a thill that was!! So cute seeing his little hands, eyes, ears, nose and mouth opening. Loved it. Thilled Hayley would let us share that. He didnt do what they wanted him too but i thought it was amazing. Anyway we went to Lulu for lunch and then did some shopping before heading back to base. These next few days were taken the next day. We went to the Dole Plantation for some yummy pineapple ice cream and gifts and then drove around the North Shore checking out the waves.
Okay below pictures were taken the day after above. Ralph and I went for a drive along the coast and went to Lulus for lunch again in Waikiki. We stopped at a few places on the way for fun. We enjoyed Sandy Beach and the Blowhole along by it. Cant remember its name. It was fun and relaxing and hated heading back to base. lol. Hayley was worried what we were doing with her car tho and kept texting me. lol.
Okay this above picture belonged to the day before, i see my dad and Ralph in the corner left. It was after we left the Dole Plantation. lol.
Above was one of those pictures that i took with my cell phone. The sun was in my eyes and i just clicked and hoped i got a good picture as i couldnt see what i was taking, lol. Always my best pictures when i do that. lol.
Blow hole and you can see Sandy Beaches behind him. Yes thats the name of that beach.
Below pictures were taken on our last day. We went shopping at an outlet mall today and took it easy. Dad had ended up in the ER the night before due to knee problems. All was well but he couldnt walk. So last day was easy. I snapped this picture of Aaron when he walked in from work.
Below pictures of Hayley getting ready for Utah!!! Looks like my dad was trying to hit her with a walking stick.
What a fun trip. Thanks Hayley and Aaron for putting up with us for 10 days. The fun part was we got to bring Hayley back with us for a week. I will post about that week in the next few days.
