On sunday we was able to rent a boat from the base marina and drive out to the Sandbar. We took a lunch with us. It was so much fun and Aaron was able to prove that yes a Navy dude can drive a boat!!! Roxy the cute silly little doggie came with us, she didnt know what to think. The sandbar was funny as it was just a foot deep but if you stepped off it you would go under. Roxy found that out when she was trying to follow Hayley. One min she was walking and then swimming for her life. lol. Funny watching Aaron run as fast as he could to get her. lol. All was well tho and she made it home in one piece. On the way back to base Aaron drove us around Gulligans Island where the show was made. Its right opp base. I cant remember what its really called. Aaron did tell us but i cant remember. It was very cute but you couldnt get too close to it. Here are some pictures.
You can see the Base Marina behind us here.
Okay this picture is another day, not sure how it got on this day. Thats Ralph in the distant. lol. Thats kinda along by North Shore.
Another one that dont belong. This is outside the store on base where they buy there food. Hayley was excited that it was her first time to being able to use this parking space. lol. This may have been the morning we went to the sandbar. lol.
She was very cold after her swim.
I wont say what Aarons doing here and why Hayley took the picture. lol.
