Thanks To Our Troops And Other News

Just want to give a shout out to our son in law Aaron and all troops, past and present and those to come for the service they give to our country. Also to there wifes and families, as they are often the ones left behind taking care of the kids and homes. All so we can have the freedom we have. THANK YOU! It all seems so much more real now we have Aaron in the family and we have worrys we never used to have before. We worry about when he will have to be depolyed again, we know that will happen of course. But we are of course proud of him and what he does for all of us. This picture below was taken last night at the Marines 237th Birthday. Perfect timing for my post today. lol. Hayley is almost 17 weeks preggie, dont she look amazing? Love and Miss them both so much.
These next two pictures were taken in St George of the Color Me Rad 5k run that Lucy did yeserday. She said she was freezing. But she finished it, which for her is sometimes hard with her asthma in cold weather. Way to go Lucy!

This picture below was also taken last night at the Rebs first basketball game of the season. Yeah i missed that one too! I missed her last football game last week and now her first basketball game. But we are going to two basketballs games in Dece. And in Jan we are taking Hayley to one which will be fun. So proud of Lucy for having been able to be on a fast packed drill team for six years{ inc HS) and this year being there president. Way to Go!
Other news lets see! Ralph and Bill went to a concert a few weeks ago. It was Jethro Tull. (Hope i got that right). They loved it and had a great time. Then Ralph, dad, Heather, Dan and i went to see Circus du soleil, Quadam. It was amazing and we loved it. Ralph, Lucy and i had seen La Noba in florida a few years ago and got our taste of them then. This one just made it worse and we want to go to vegas now and see another, lol. But it was a great evening. Then friday night Ralph, Dad and i went to the Desert Star in Murray and saw there show of Wicked er!!! It was very funny and we loved it and got a taste of those also. The wicked witch of the West was in fact the Wicked Witch of West Valley and everyone was warned about going down the yellow brick road, because it took you though West Valley. Just had us in stitches. Very funny. Will certainly go to some of there other shows. Cheap evening but fun. Lucy had to travel down on a school bus with her drill team thursday night for the HS playoffs. Her girls were dancing. It was crazy, for instant Bingham who only live 30 mins away had the afternoon game. But Lucys school that had to drive four hours from St George got the 6.00pm game. They didnt get home till 3.00am on a school day for the kids and a college day for Lucy. Just crazy. They got beat so she wont have to repeat it next week for the finals, tho she felt bad for the kids. It made her remember her HS days when the football team got kicked out. So anyway thats been our crazy last couple of weeks. We are looking forward to the holidays, Turkey Day and Christmas and seeing spending time with our kids and there families.
