Cory Drama Yet Again!!

Wednesday night was really interesting. That evening Cory started telling us he was having really bad pains down his right side. At first i thought it was his stomach area so you can all guess what i was thinking, but then he said it was higher up under his chest on right side. As the evening got later he told us at midnight that he wanted to go to the ER. For any of you that know Cory well you know how much he hates hospitals. After open heart surgery and after spending two weeks in the hospital two years ago for many lung surgerys in two weeks and two hospitals he wouldnt be asking to go unless good reason. So that had us concered of course. I was thinking kidney stones but also was very worried that his right lung was now having problems like the left two years ago. An CT at that time did show that he has the same problems (which are like huge bubbles) in the right one, docs say it might never go but it could also go any time. One of those things you just dont know. So off to the ER. Five hours later back home again! They had to call in a U/S tech as of course they had left for the night and she went all over him but could not find anything wrong. She did say she was surprised that they hadnt done a CT before a U/S but we have no idea why that was of course. They also though kidney stones but couldnt find anything. The next day he was fine. We have no idea what that was about and hope its not something thats starting to go. Two years ago they said they thought he had Malfan (not sure if i spelt that right but its in my posts two years ago when he was in hopsital), that weakens the tissues which kinda explains his heart and lung problems. So as a mother i am concered its not affecting his Gall Bladder or something. But he is doing great now so i guess i wont worry too much. This is one of the reasons i hope he decides not to go on a misson. I really dont want to have to worry about him for two years being somewhere and something happening to his right lung or something else. His heart and lung doctor said we would have to get the health director involved if he does and they would be picky about where he went due to his medical problems. Me, i would rather he didnt go because of them. Many kids cry medical problems and dont go for much less problems then his. But i will support whatever he chooses of course. And he said if he dont go it wont be because of medical reasons, he wont ever cry that! But anyway hes doing well. Just signed up for school in jan and just got a job at target as a stocker there. He has a very cute girlfriend Dani of many years who we all just adore, so life is very good for him. Her plans are to go to medical school and become a heart and lung doctor. lol. Shes working towards that now. So anyway Ralph and i went to work thursday with two hours of sleep, Dani also didnt sleep that night so it was a very long long day!! Glad hes okay and didnt need another surgery. Whew!
