Homecoming Weekend For The Rebs

This past weekend saw us going to Lucys last Homecoming. At least one she will be dancing at. (she will be going as coach for her HS drill girls still). This is Lucys 6th one if you count her HS years and we were excited to attend her last one. We made a weekend of it. We drove though Zions on the friday. (not sure where those pictures went, if i find them i will add them at bottom later). We drove around ourselves for awhile and also went on there shuttle ride, which was really easy and reilable. We went on a small hike at the last stop which was the hike that goes to the Narrows. We just hiked to the beg of the Narrows of course. lol. We stood for awhile also and watch some Rock Climbers and did see a Ranger with lights flashing driving fast when we got back on the shuttle. We found out next day one of the had fallen and got killed. Thats so sad. It hit home as it may have been one we were watching climb for awhile. We then drove to St George and took Lucy to Texas Roadhouse. Yummy! Not sure what they did but it was the best one i have gone too. Never been to that one before. Wish i could go everytime im there. lol. The next morning Sat we went to the Homecoming Parade. It might not be the last one we attend as her dance studio she teaches at also always is in it, she just cant walk with them as she is with the Rebs. lol. But this was her last time with the Rebs. The last two years she has been at the end and this time she was like Number nine or ten. So as we didnt have any little kids this year (everyone was unable to come at last minute) we kinda, well. Bailed out and went and had breakfast at Dennys. Dont know why i felt so guity for. lol. After that we had the Football Game. It was the last football game i will ever watch Lucy dance at. (after six years thats kinda crazy). Her last one is this saturday but Ralph has scout camp so we cant go sadly. But anyway Lucy choregraphed the whole routine and it was freaking amazing. If you see the video on facebook you will certainly agree with me. She really is just a powerhouse of talent, Really!. They said when the girls walked out that all three presidents had choregraphed it but they were wrong. lol. Lucy deserves full credit for it. It was all her work and she of course taught it to the girls. What an amazing routine it was. And there are the fans that we had so much running around to get and ship to the Rebs last week. (Gotta love drill). After half time. Yea i have never watched a full game of football, lol. Once shes danced we are out of there. lol. But anyway after the dance we drove to Vegas and did some shopping at the outlet malls there and also went to my fave place which is the British Pub for my Sausage Roll and Fish N Chips. Lucy had an Indian Curry and Ralph had a Steak and Mushroom Pie. Yummy! They do all kinds of British food there and i love that place. We got back late to St George and went and got Ice Cream and then crashed in bed. Next day we drove home. It was a wonderful weekend and i wish we were going again this weekend. Thank you Haileys mom for the pictures of the girls on the field. (my Hayley had called me right after the dance with some exciting news which i will share in next post and i missed the picture time). Anyway here are the pictures. We had an amazing time!
