Lee And Carole Moving Into There New Home

Well it took months for them to move into there new home but they are finally in. I wont go into details of the months. Your have to read Caroles blog to find out how fun that all was!!!! Anyway the first day finally came and they were smart. They had movers do the moving for them. Certainly the way to move. Anyway i though i would take some pictures of the first day in. They have already in the first week changed many things. Pulled down the bald add on and deck, replaced carpets and had a bathroom downstairs pulled out and put back. Next week i belive they are painting and having someone re build a new deck. So will be plenty of After pictures too in the coming weeks. Here are the first day and Before pictures. First one is Leanna in a downstairs bedroom. She saw a picture of her mum Carole that was taken when Carole was working at Discover Card. Leanna just stood there and just looked at that picture for ever trying to figure it out. lol. It was so cute. They have three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs they have three bedrooms, a bathroom, living room and an extra kitchen which is awesome. Its a big house, bigger then ours. Plenty of room for more grandbabies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Above is the bad add on. Thats all you can call it. Its beween the kitchen and deck. Just wasnt built right at all. Had it been done right it would have been nice as it had washer dryer hook ups and maybe had it been done say as a glass room would have been nice. But yeah, Bad add on had to go and in fact is already pulled down. The deck joining it has also been knocked down already too. In its place will be a brand new bigger nicer deck. Hopefully in the next week or two.

 We brought them a meal from Chillis for there first night as the whole day had been a crazy busy one for them. They are lucky that there floors in kitchen and living room and upstairs hallways are a nice hardwood. So no replacing carpets in those areas which was nice.

For some reason the people before them loved orange walls. These are the stairs going downstairs. They are tile and very steep and not very safe. They are going to have them carpeted in next few months.

 Hard to see living room with all the boxes but its a great size and will be great once painted etc. A great room.

 Leannas room. The bedrooms have since had new carpet put in.

 Lee and Caroles room. Remember they were in the middle of moving in when i took these pictures.

Trees in back yard. Trees will be going in spring and he also has a nice size part of the yard the end of this and towards side of house that is grassed. But it does need work of course.

 Leland in his new room. I cant wait to see his new carpet.

 Leland wanted me to take a picture of his closet for some reason. lol.

 Downstairs in the basement turning the water heater on. They had problems as the gas hadnt been turned on as planned that day!!!!!!!! Leland was so funny. He had heard people take about the Bad add on upstairs dozens and dozens of times. So when the water heater wouldnt come on hes like. Oh its a Bad add on!!!!!! lol.

 Some of the three bedrooms downstairs. All need painting and new carpets but the great thing is the basements finsihed and thats all that does need to be done.

 Above the downstairs bathroom is off limits while its being worked on.There was some small mold that ended up being nothing but they had to have it all tested etc and couldnt go in there while being done. But its a nice bathroom.

 They have one of those rooms under basement for food storage. Oh how i would love one of these rooms.
