Happy 30th Birthday Jay

Wow! 30 Years old. Hard to belive, Really! I have been doing all my kids birth stories on there birthdays and have Lee and Corys done this year so now for the last of the boys. It wont be as long as Corys, no ones will. lol. Jay came about a week and a half before his delivery date. He wasnt suppose to be born till around sept 9th or something like that. My mum was getting very fed up waiting for him and so that weekend before he was born took me all around the markets in London, walking me to death in the middle of summer. lol. All day long. lol. She wanted that grandbaby that weekend it seemed very badly. During the night around 2.00am i started getting the pains i knew so well from Lees natural birth. (my first four were natural births). We called my mum who drove over to spend the night with Lee who had just turned 2. There dad took me to the hospital and like with Lee after ten mins there had had enough and went home to sleep the rest of the night. lol. Being a natural birth i just remember a sea of pain all night and not much else. All of my six kids were born with there faces turned the other way so very painful when its a natural birth and there trying to turn them. I remember the relief when he was born and knew i had a healthy baby boy. (we only knew what we were having with Lucy and even then just Ralph and i knew, we refused to tell anyone else). I was happy to have another boy for Lee to play with. I had had a nasty miscarriage in beween Lee and Jays birth where i spent a month in the hospital. Nasty place. In a ward with ten beds on each side, a womens ward luckily so no men but i wasnt allowed out of the bed and had to have a curtain put around me whenever i needed potty. Not fun. I did lose the baby at the end of it and was thilled when i got pg with Jay and he was born healthy. Once again had to live with there rules of just two visitors twice a day for an hour. At noon and at six pm. Luckily cause it was my second baby tho i didnt have to stay for a week like Lee. I was able to go home after two days. The room i was in had three other women with babies in it so there was always one crying so no rest there at all. There was an Indian lady there who had a girl. I guess that wasnt cool. Most of the time her whole family and i mean around ten or more people were around the cot with the baby in crying and praying because that beauitful baby was a girl not a boy. So strange. She didnt speak english so couldnt ask her what the deal was. I certainly would have brought her home happily. I have always wondered what kind of life she had. Poor thing. But Jay was a much easier baby then Lee. Much more mellow and calm and happy just to be fed etc. There dad brought Lee in but Lee started screaming and had to leave. We wasnt sure if he was worried i was going to be in hospital for a month again as that hadnt been a good experience for him as they only allowed him to visit me once in that month. But anyway when i got home two days later. Lee went and looked at Jay laying in the cot and then decided to scream at him and shake the cot pretty bad. Lovely! Kinda how there life went from there really. lol. But Jay was a healthy baby. Had a few ear infections but nothing else. I didnt bother to nurse like i had for a week with Lee. I was much more sure of myself and stood up for myself more in the hospital then with Lee and didnt let people talk me into doing something i didnt want to do. Jay was a great baby and gave me no trouble. He was a delight. He was also a really good little boy to raise and has grown into a wonderful man with a family of his own. His son Jayson is a pure joy and he is expecting his second child in Feb. We are so excited to meet the new baby of course. Happy birithday Jay. You are a wonderful person and we are so proud of you and what you are doing in school and your family. Thank you for letting us be your parents.
Happy Birthday. Love ya.
