Well two months ago i did a post on an update of how i had moved out of Jens office and had moved up to the business office in OB upstairs. Well that only last three weeks. lol. Reason being another office opened up upstairs and Jen grabbed it quick for me. Had me in there before anyone else even knew. lol. Its a great office. Big enough for two people but as i have to have a sorting desk as well as a computer desk i have it all to myself. Yay! I waited a year in this new building for this office so im really enjoying it. I have been in here for about a month. Of course true to form theres always changes. A year ago Jen gave me her old desk when we moved to the new building. I had it for the two days i was in my first office. (you will have to see last sept post for that news). Anyway when one of the other offices took my office they also took my desk. BOO! I wasnt upset when i moved to this office tho as it had a brand new desk in there that matched the cool brown door i have. So i was happy. Well!!! last wednesday i get a text from Jen telling me my computers on the floor that another office, the sleep study needed my new desk for a new doctor that wanted it to match his office. YEAH! She told me i could take the day off while she sorted it out but i went in anyway to help her. lol. When i got there they had brought in a monster of a desk that was twice the size and with it in there the door wouldnt shut. lol. It was an okay desk tho and it used to be one of the doctors in our old building so it wasnt bad. But i would have to have had it so my back was facing the door and i didnt want that. I like to be facing the door. So i refused that one (after they had it in my office of course). Next they brought in another that used to be one of the other doctors in the old building but i didnt like that one also. lol. It was ugly and i hated it. Luckily that one was still in the truck outside for my approval so it didnt make it up the stairs. That ones now in the basement. lol. Then i had a bright idea. (thats why the docs gave me a great rasie right!). Why not trade the big huge one for my first desk i brought over from the old building. So off Jen went to talk to the office that had that desk and they agreeded. So i finally got my desk back from a year ago. Its certainly not as nice as the fancy brown one i had. I wish i still had that but for some reason the doctor is more important then me. I havnt figured that out yet!!!!!! But i was happy to get a desk and Cody our guy that has to move everything for us was certainly happy i was finally happy and he could stop bringing in desks for my approval. lol. So anyway heres some pictures of my new office and my many desks. For anyone wanting to visit come up the main stairs or elevator and once up stairs you will see OB on your left and Peds on your right. Follow the hallway past PEDS and im the first door pass peds. Now the problem is the sign outside. Right now it says Research. A new sign has been ordered. They didnt want to put Scanning in case pts thought they could just walk in and have me print off there records so its going to just say File Room. lol. Not really want i am but whatever. lol. We went thought four names before i agreed on one. lol. Im kinda the goto person up there but its good im up there as someone to help direct people was certainly needed. And i kinda like getting to talk to pts that walk pass and need help or whatever so i like it a lot. So anyone come visit me im usually there. Hopefully this time next year i will still be there or maybe i will have had a dozen other offices by then!!!!!

These are the huge desk that was twice the size of a reg one.
This is the back wall of my office. Its my sorting desk. Every piece of paper and i have on average two thousand a day has to be sorted into whatever part of the pts chart it has to be scanned into.
Those boxes on left are where i put the papers once scanned and indexed. I dont have time to file them in order after i have scanned them so i have girls in two different offices that do that for me. Then they give them back to me and i box them for three months until i can have the shredder people pick them up. In old offices i would fill two boxes a month. In this office i fill up ten to twelve boxes a month. Crazy! Hense why i have to have a bunch of girls do all my filing for me. There just isnt time for me to do that anymore. Oh the temple picture is one we had in our house for 26 years but we are redoing our home and want to get one of the Hawaii temple. This one is the Washington DC temple. I couldnt throw it away so put it up in my office. Jen said if a pt says anything i will have to take it down. You know how it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So far no one has said anything.

I always keep the door open and get to talk all day to pts and people are always stopping by to chat. I like my new office. Its taken a long while to get it. Its really big tho you cant tell in these pitures. So anyway if your in the building come find me. I have a soda in my fridge for ya.
