A couple of months ago Krista said that the least depressed people are people that are planning a trip (facebook). Carole answered that i must be the most happiest person around. lol. Well i think Krista is sooo right. When you are planning a trip or are looking forward to a trip it really does make you happier and gives you something to look forward too. On my 40th and 50th birthday Ralph gave me wonderful trips. San Fran for my 40th and then on my 50th he took me to Lake Powell for four days and then the day after we got home he flew me out to England to visit my mum for 10 days. As she only had a few months to live that was a very bittersweet trip. We knew it was the only time we would have over there together and we made it very very special. Because of that i wanted to do something very special for Ralph on his 50th. Sooo tonight i booked an amazing pkg. It has the hotel, air and car all included. And add to that the hotel is a beachside hotel in Waikki, Hawaii and we have the best rooms in the hotel which are oceanfront rooms. Yay!!! We are so excited. We will be there for five nights. Isnt that a wonderful 50th birthday pressie? And the hotel rooms have A/C so i will be happy. lol. It will be so wonderful just to relax on the beach of an evening or in our room overlooking the ocean. Ralphs excited too to go visit north side and see the big waves and surfers. And of course we have our Hayley and Aaron there (who will be back from deployment by then). And we even got a direct flight on the way home by the exit seats, so extra leg room, lol. Both of us also have enough miles for a free flight by now also. It will be funny having our big vacation so early in the year but thats okay, your only 50 once. Other then if any of our girls get married next year and we have to travel to it, this will be it. So we made it as nice as possible. And we cant wait. We love Hawaii.
Never give in - never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force, Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. WINSTON CHURCHILL
