Wow! Two posts on one day, But both were important to me to post about today. This was our future Kings wedding day and what a wonderful day they had. No one can put on a show like the British can. Add that and the history behind it all and you have quite the show. They got married in the Abby, one of the most beauitful churchs in London. The spot they got married on is where William The Conquar got his crowd a thousand years ago and where one day William will stand to recd his. The crowds were amazing down the mall and around Buckingham Palace. I joked to Cory when he saw the crowds around the Palace that we had gone on the right day!!!!! It wasnt that busy last month when we were walking the mall and taking pictures outside the Palace. lol. Watching it on TV dont do it justice at all. I have been at the mall in the crowds and one of the people rushing to the palace gates after they pass by and weve allowed to go to gates and beleive me theres nothing in the world like it. I was lucky enough to have seen the Queen riding her horse by me that day and seeing Princess Diane in a carriage with her then children and her then hubby (who rode a horse that day). I was younger then and could run very fast and so got right up to the palace and got great views of them all on the balacony afterwards. It was an event that i will never forget and i hope one day i can do it again. Watching this on the Tv wasnt the same but made me Oh so proud to be British and Oh so homesick. Even Ralph told me it was making him want to go back again and we were at all these places just last month, lol.Congrats to William and Kate and thanks for letting us all share your wondeful day.
