It is with a very heavy heart that i post today to let everyone know that my beauitful Sego Lily was in fact not taken out of my friends home in Boulder Colorado before the fires took her home to the ground. She is on a crusie and had a cat sitter and Sego not knowing her hid (the smell of the fire and everything scared her). The sitter sent animal rescure back for her after taking the other animals out but they couldnt get in there as the fire was so bad. I cant even express the sorrow i feel about this loss. She was six years old and had gone to my friends on July 24th to breed with her male one more time before we retired her. We was going to pick her up next month when they got back from the cruise. She was a sweetheart and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
I am so sorry to hear that.. what a pretty cat. Loosing an animal is never easy and especially knowing it was in such a terrible and helpless situation! My heart goes out to you!!
