Leave the Name alone!!!!

A few years ago some people that have nothing better to do and worry about things way too much decided that the mascot of Dixie college needed to be changed. The Rebels is just too bad of a word and name for there delicate little ears!!!! Well they managed to get it changed. For some reasons the drill team the Rebelettes managed to keep there name and so for the past few years thereve still been known as the Rebelettes.
Well in June us parents paid for all there warm ups and clothes and all the fun stuff these girls have to have to be on the team. Today they arrived and Lucy was very excited at pratice today to see how awesome they were. And a change for her to have red instead of blue. Well the drill coach got a last minute call just before they were handed out. Seems that this same group of nothing better to do in there lifes, dont like the fact there still know as the Rebelettes. They want it changed and today!!!!! Hmm maybe they would like to pay for all these girls to have different clothes made, and by this saturday no less!!!! But that aside, who are these people? That are offended so easily by a name thats been there for many many years. Why are they so offended in the first place. Come on, grow up!!!!! Get over it and stop forcing your values on everyone else. Really!!!! I am so fed up with these do gooders that have nothing better to do. Its just so stupid and makes them look very stupid, that they have to change a school tradition thats been there for years and years, just because they think the word Rebels is bad. I know springville drill team had the same problem a few years ago and had to change there name. But come on, dont do it now the clothes are here, unless your willing to cover all our expenses.
They are trying to get it extended for one more year, but really this whole thing is totally stupid.
Nothing worse then a bunch of people that think there doing us all a favor by enforcing there values on us all the time.
Anyway hopefully the Rebelettes (who im sure will always be thought of as that name) have some clothes to wear at there first football game this saturday!!!!
Gotta love the do gooders in St George!!!!!!!!!! Alll the coffin dodgers need to find something else to fill there time and thoughts with. lol.

PS Just adding on here. Lucy said its confirmed that they now have to be called the Stormettes!!!! How dumb is that? Hopefully they will be allowed to wear there clothes this year that we paid hundreds of dollors for that say Rebelettes. Or better still have the do gooders buy them all some more with a name that dont offend them.
