Stop blaming social networks

I get really fed up with hearing about how evil facebook is. Or the internet for that matter. It really is a matter of how you use it or who you allow to share it with in your life.
If i really look hard at it, its really easy to see that the only people ive had problems with within it all, are in fact the same people i had problems with before computers. The people i have not had any problems with are also people i never did before computers. Comes down again to cleaning up who you allow to share it with and who you have around you as friends. If you have good people in your life then you will not have any problems with facebook or other social networks. The only people ive had to delete or block on say facebook, were people that were giving me grief other ways before it came about. Facebook and internet just gave them a new outlet to play with. Like i said there the only people ive had to block and delete. But i really dont see it as evil if you are careful on who you allow to interact with on line. Keep to the people you always had good relationships with in the first place and you shouldnt run into any problems.
Of course theres whole other areas you need to be careful of on line and thats a whole other problem. But im just touching on the problems people claim are being created by say facebook. People need to stop blaming facebook and see that maybe the problems were already there long before anyone ever heard of it. The plus side i see in it, is that at least once anything you say is online, no one can change what you said and use something against you that you never in fact said. Its there for anyone to see. So that i belive is a bonus right there. What i love about it the most is the fact that im in better contact now then i ever was before with family members from overseas that i had lost contact with over the years, plus many many good friends.The support system it gave me with the problems with my mum was just amazing and ive be forever greatful to it. So, all you people that think social networking creates problems. Take a good look. Were the problems really not there already before facebook came along?
