Blog Book

Im doing a post on this just for anyone else that might be interested in converting there blog into a book. I treat mine as a journal. Ive never kept a journal as im way to lazy to sit there and write about stuff. The blog works great for me as i can type pretty fast and it dont take long. I wanted the books as the blog does detail pretty much all our lifes every year and it will be great to have and to pass on one day. Anyway the website is blurb.com. They have a video (or you can email me and ive forward the video onto you) that you can watch and it shows you every step in how to do it. Its really really easy. You have to download there program which is booksmarts and then you just go in and its as easy as just clicking on buttoms and they walk you though it. If i can do it, anyone can!!!!!!!! I just have finished 2009 and have it loaded on there website and ready to order. 2009 was a very large book as we had all the millions of things Lucy was doing all the time with the Minerettes every week. So i had 156 posts, 727 photos and it ended up being 219 pages. But that said it only cost me 64.00. I think thats a great deal. If your posts for a certain year are less then mine and im sure a lot of you do have them under a 100 posts a year, then its only going to be around 20.00 or so. I plan on doing a book for each year. I think thats the best way to do it. But im way excited. It will also have all my fave photos in there so thats also a huge plus. Its much nicer then any journal i could ever do. They also have tons of layouts, i choose the basic one this year as im learning all this, but i can get more fancier every year as i learn more. Of course i had to delte some pages on the book which were the video pages as they of course cant come out but im excited to get it. Once downloaded on there site you have 15 days to order it before they delte it. I found that before you download it on there site to go though every page and make sure all photos are okay, some had heads off and you just have to click on them and zoom them out to make them okay again. Then once downloaded on there site, check each page again to make sure its how you want it before you order it. But its a great website. Anyway just wanted to pass this info in case anyone else is interested. We all spend alot of time blogging and i never go back and look at pass posts but this way ive have each year in a book. AWESOME!
