Baby Jayson is finally here

Our new grandbaby was born this morning around 8.51am and was 8lb 4oz and 21 inches long. He did have a stuggle at first due to the cord being around his neck and mommy almost had to have a c section, but luckily all is well and hes doing great. We went to see him of course and took daddy out to get something to eat while mommy nursed him. Both Emmalee and Jayson (and Jay) are recovering well and all are doing good. We are so excited to have another grandbaby to love on.

Me holding Jayson, i love this picture, he has his daddys worried cry and for sure his daddys eyebrows, that was the first thing we noticed on him, lol. His hair looks red in these pictures but it didnt seem very red in real life, it could be the lighting in the room.

Emmalee of course was pretty exhausted but thilled to finally have her baby here safe and sound.

Of course i had to have my picture done with my new grandbaby. It was so nice to not be in a wheelchair with a cath bag stuck to my leg like i was the first time i met Leland. lol. (it was 2 days after my surgery). I remember when my dad saw the pictures hes like

Hmm dont you think your taking this whole grandma thing a bit far!!!!! lol.

Hes so stinking cute and i cant wait for my dad to get out here next week to see him. It makes me really sad that my mums not here to enjoy them, she was so thilled to hear that they were having a baby. But hopefully shes been able to join in this joy full time with us wherever she is.
