A near death experience-----------Not fun.

Well two posts in one day!! Both drama but luckily not on the same day so im not totally insane. lol. Last night late around 11.00 Ralph and Cory took off for the store as Cory has scout camp tomorrow and needs some things. They usually dont go that late and are usually home at that time. At the same time Lucys friend Eden and her boyfriend came over as edens printer was down and she needed to print some stuff up for her homework. Usually our house is quite at that time of the night. Well anyway i have to take a low dose med to prevent getting bladder infections for three months and i went upstairs to take it before i jumped in the shower. Its a huge horse type pill and i usually take with milk but this time was in a rush and took it with water. Well bad idea! It got stuck and i couldnt get it down or back up. It totally stopped my breathing. I tried coughing to bring it back up and tried drinking water to help it down and nothing. I could feel myself getting very light headed and dizzy. I knew i needed to let someone know in case i did pass out. It really did go though my head that. Oh my gosh is this how im going to go. I know we all wonder that at some point and i really did think this was my time. Really!! I pretty much crawed downstairs to Lucy and her friends as i was almost ready to pass out. I got down there and there all like. Are you okay??? Yeah im always crawing around acting like that!!! lol. Edens boyfriends like. I dont think shes messing around i think she really is choking!! lol. No kiddin!!!! At that point im thinking someone please call 911. lol. Lucy came rushing over to me and grabbed me. At that same time i started coughing and the pill came flying out like a bullet. lol. I was so happy let me tell you. Lucy looked like she was ready to cry poor girl and all her friends seemed shook up. It was a horrible feeling. I really though it was the end and i remember thinking how bad it would be for my dad to hear about this when he was still dealing with my mum. Isnt it funny the things you think of. Lucy got straight on the phone to Ralph who rushed home. I felt really light headed for a couple of hours like i was going to pass out. My boss said today it was properly shock that did that and lack of oxygen for a little bit. (shes a nurse of course). And today i have a headache. Of course all the doctors and staff here had to hear the drama of it all this morning. lol. Now im scared to take my pills. Never again will i take them without Ralph home. lol. Im just glad i didnt die as i really thought i might. Im sure in reference to my post below there might have been some that that might have made happy but luckily not many people. lol. Anyway drama two nights in a row at our house, lol. The night before we had our home teachers over during that drama with the phone call, lol. Hopefully now we can go back to our normal lifes. I could tell when i told my dad this morning that it really shook him up. He gave me a long daddy leture on taking pills carefully. lol.
And thanks Lucy once again for helping me in my hour of need. When i fell down the stairs four years ago and broke my foot she rushed to help me also. Good job she wants to be an emt. lol.
