Alta Hike To Cecret Lake

We have had Lucy staying with us for the past week and it has been so much fun. I miss my girls that are not living close a lot and make the most of anytime I get to spend with them. We decided to go on a hike. It was suppose to be a small short one but when we got there the parking lots were full so we had to park in Alta and hike to Cecret Lake, thus turning it into a six mile hike. Im a very slow hiker and have not done much of it the past x amount of years but im trying to get into it again as I do enjoy it and its something Ralph loves. Now im working out everynight I have noticed a great increase in my energy level and I was able to hike again for the first time in years. I tell ya, Zumba is wonderful. Everyone should do it. Anyway it was a beautiful hike but the bugs were bad and im the person that always has a reaction to bug bites. So now I have around 35 bug bites, not reg ones you see on everyone but there all the size of a quarter each. Very very painful. I also had very stiff legs for two days afterwards where I havnt hiked that much for many years if at all. But putting apart the pain, lol, I loved it and would certainly do it again and plan too. I only fell once, lol but didn't get hurt luckily. We also saw a Moose which was kinda cool and also some Deer. Here are some pictures.

Abby didn't come hiking with us but she was pretty sick when Lucy arrived, so much that we were scared we would have to say goodbye, shes almost 14 now. Luckily the vet was able to fix her issues and hopefully she will be with us awhile longer. She is deaf and almost blind but we love her so much and as long as she still has a good quality of life with us we will keep her with us as long as we can.

 I had to sit down for ten mins, lol.
