Jay Gets His Bachelors Degree

We are so proud of Jay for getting his Bachelors Degree. His degree is in Bachelors Of Science In Digital Media. He has worked so hard the past few years not only going to school full time but also working part time in AF and also helping take care of there children. Emmalee also has worked full time to help him get to his goals. Shes a lot like me and likes to work to help whatever the family needs are. Im so happy all there hard work has paid off and he graduated last Wednesday from UVU. It was a wonderful day and we were thilled to share it with them. We were very proud to see him walk. Afterwards we went to Texas Roadhouse for a fun meal to celebrate. Jay has not been able to take anytime off. He has jumped straight into a job with the LDS Church at there church headquarters in SLC. He works on the 27th floor (awesome views) as a Web Publisher. He besides other duties is keeping there website lds.org updated. We wish him all the best in his new adventage. We were so touched by his family who all put money in so we could give Jay a good size check as a pressie. It was nice to see the love and support his brothers and sisters have for him. Again Congrats Jay, we are so proud of you and your wonderful family.

Again we are so proud. Hes the first of the Powell grandkids to get his Bachelors. (Heather was the first to get her Associates, and Lee also has his.). We are proud of them being the first of course. Emmalee has hers like I said and Heathers Dan has his and it always makes me proud of the work that it takes to reach this goal. We had five out of six kids in universitys this past semester. It says a lot for our kids and we are so proud of the work they do to inprove there lifes. We are proud of all of them.
