Blast From My Past And Lucys Little Stars

Although there wont be any posts on Lucy dancing, shes a coach and teacher so there will be a few dance posts still. Last weekend her little girls (not her hs drill team girls) had there first comp of the year. They all got first places/overall awards and all the top stuff. Way to go girls and way to go Lucy on being such an amazing teacher for them. Way below is a real blast from the past for me. Most of my pictures are with Lee and Jays dad. He gave us a few but kinda picked out those ones that you wouldn't want if you know what I mean. Most of my life before 1985 is gone or at least with him or in the trash, depending what he did with them. lol. I really don't have many pictures of my life before that time. Anyway one of my old very good friends that I have stayed in touch with since I was 13 came up with a few pictures and sent them to me. The quality isn't great but it was fun to see them. They are below.

Above Lynda and I when we were around 18 or 19 in London. She lived in Coventry around 4 hours away from London. We started as pen friends (back in the day of no computers) when we were 12, we were hooked up though the Osmonds fan club back then. I had many pen friends but Lynda was one we decided to meet when we were 14 or so and we had many fun times together going to Osmond concerts and other fun things. I would often go to her place for a weekend and her to me. We did this until just before Jay was born when we lost touch. We still did Christmas cards for awhile but then lost touch when she moved to Spain. Six months ago she found me on facebook. Its been great getting to know each other again after all these years. I always wondered what happened to her. Oh im the one with the crazy hair. lol. I think this was taken before I married Lee and Jays dad so we must have been 18 im guessing.
Above was of me at my 21st birthday. My parents always told me if I wasn't married they would throw me a huge 21st birthday party. Well I got married at 18 and had Lee before I was 21. They threw me one anyway a few weeks after Lee was born. Lynda is Lees God mother and as you can tell she was very proud of him. Can you belive I was back in a tiny black dress four weeks after having a baby!!!!!!! Oh to be that young and skinny again.
I had send Lynda a card when Hayley was born. She thought now that Hayley is having a baby she would like to see it. lol.
Im not sure when this picture was taken. I have never seen it. Lynda took it. Im guessing early 80s. Oh I miss my Mum!

Growing up in London was like living in New York. You had west end shows (broadway for ny) all around you. We were pretty spoiled and I took it for granted until I moved here and theres nothing. lol. Lynda never had them in Coventry and was thilled when we surprised her with a show in London Annie! She had always wanted to go. I can remember that night like it was yesterday. I think it was around the time I had just had Jay im thinking.

She had one of Ralph and I wedding pictures. lol. I never did good with wedding pictures. I had a beautiful 60 {8 by 10} picture album with Lee and Jays dad but he kept it. lol. With our wedding we couldn't afford a photographer so we had Paul (ralphs brother do pictures). This was pretty much the only one that wasn't blurred. lol. Was a shame but that's life. Ralph had shaved his beard off that day. I hated it, he looked 16 without it. I felt like I looked 35 and he looked 16. lol. Funny how when you hate a picture at the time but 28 years later you look back and think. Oh wow, I did look okay. lol. We had been busy that day getting our license (yea we left to a few hours before) and I only had 45 mins to get ready. I wasn't happy about that. Plus didn't have anyone to help me like my Mum or any of my close friends. Oh well!!! That's what you get when you marry someone half way around the world and you have been given a temp permit to get married, no time to plan anything fancy. No regrets about who I married:}.
Ha ha. I think we were around 14 or 15 here. Lynda even had long hair. So funny!

This was taken at the same time as my 21st party. My parents had just gotton back from there first trip to Florida and had brought there first grandson Lee a mickey mouse and Donald Duck. The elephant that Lynda has was also a gift for Lee from my coworkers (I worked in Lloyds Bank Of London) right in the middle of London. It was hard getting that big elephant home seven months pg on the London subway during rush hour, lol. Crazy thing is Lee still has that elephant. I don't have a clue how we got it on the plane out here but someone had to have brought it over. lol. Its very yucky now and is still at Lees house. Lee see how nice it was at one time. lol. It was nice seeing these old pictures. I noticed she never sent me any of me and Lee and Jays dad. lol.
